Cancellation Policy
If a visit is cancelled with less than 72 hours notice but more than 2 hours notice, 40% of the original visit cost will be due as a cancellation fee. If a visit is cancelled with 2 hours of notice or less, the full cost of the visit will be due.

Distance Policy
The following distance pricing policies will automatically be applied to the base price of your visit, based on the driving distance of your home from my home office.
- Neighbor Discount: If your home is within 5 minutes of my home office, a $3 per visit discount will be automatically applied.
- If your home is outside the service range (it is more than 20 minutes away from my home office), a distance-based driving fee will be added to the cost of each visit at a rate of $5 per additional 5 minutes of drive time.

Late Booking Policy
Visits booked with between 36 hours notice and 6 hours notice will include a late booking fee equal to 15% of the visit cost. Visits booked with less than 6 hours notice will include a late booking fee equal to 30% of the visit cost.

Holiday Booking Policy
Visits booked on the following holidays will include a holiday booking fee equal to 40% of the visit cost:

- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- President’s Day
- Mother’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Father’s Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veteran’s Day
- Thanksgiving Day & The day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve

Client Responsibilities Acknowledgement
Clients are responsible for providing up-to-date information about their pets in their online profile. Because both pet owners and Lia’s Pet Care have access to update and manage pet profiles, the platform insures we have the same expectations about what each animal needs. Our goal is always to provide excellent, loving care for your animals, but our success relies on having clear information about what good care looks like for them.

Out of Town Dog Owner Policy
To provide adequate attention and stimulation for dogs, if Lia’s Pet Care is the only organization or person providing care for dogs while their owner is out of town, you must book at least three visits a day, and at least one of those visits must be an hour long.
